Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Ventiqa collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Ventiqa is an event invitation, RSVP, contribution and check-in platform operated by Techpreneurs Solution in Tanzania.

1. Who We Are

Ventiqa (ventiqa.co.tz) is provided by Techpreneurs Solution, which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at techpreneurssolution@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account details: your full name, email address, optional phone number and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash.
Google sign-in details: if you choose "Continue with Google", the name and email address on your Google account and whether Google has verified that email (see section 3).
Event details: event titles, dates, venues, host names, invitation designs and other content organizers add.
Guest and contributor details added by organizers: names, phone numbers, invitation type, RSVP responses, entry codes, check-in status, pledges, contributions and payments recorded for the event.
Messages: the text, recipient number and delivery status of invitations, reminders and other SMS, WhatsApp and email messages sent through Ventiqa, and replies guests send back on WhatsApp.
Payments: records of payments for invitation credits and services, such as amount, reference and status. We do not store card details.
Security and device information: login times, signed-in devices (device and browser name), IP addresses and one-time login codes, used to protect your account and enforce device limits.
Feedback: comments and suggestions you send us about the service.
Cookies: essential cookies for login, security and remembering your cookie choice (see section 9).

3. Google User Data

When you sign in or create an account with Google, Ventiqa asks Google only for your basic profile: your name, email address and whether that email is verified (the openid, email and profile permissions).

How we use it: only to create your Ventiqa account, sign you in, mark your email address as verified, and show your name in your account.
What we do not access: we never receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or any other Google data.
Sharing: we do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as needed to run your account (for example, our hosting provider stores it) or where the law requires.
Storage and deletion: your name and email are kept with your Ventiqa account until you ask us to delete the account.
Revoking access: you can remove Ventiqa's access at any time from your Google account permissions. Your Ventiqa account then remains usable with a password, which you can set through "Forgot password".

Ventiqa's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Information

To create and secure accounts, including two-factor login codes and device limits.
To run events: show invitation pages, collect RSVPs, generate QR codes and entry codes, record check-ins, and produce reports.
To send the invitations, reminders and thank-you messages that organizers request, and to record whether they were delivered.
To record pledges, contributions and payments, and to activate paid services.
To provide support, answer questions and improve the service using feedback.
To prevent abuse and fraud, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

6. Information About Guests and Contributors

Organizers decide which guests and contributors to add and what to send them, and they are responsible for having permission to use those details. If you received a message through Ventiqa and want your details corrected or removed, contact the event organizer or email us and we will help.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We keep account information while your account is active. Event, guest, message, contribution and payment records are kept for as long as needed to run the event, support the organizer, resolve disputes, and meet accounting and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. How We Protect Information

Ventiqa uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional and staff-required two-factor login, limits on signed-in devices, role-based access for event teams, and secure tokens for QR codes. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password and login codes private.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, and remember your cookie choice. Optional cookies stay off unless you allow them in Cookie settings.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You can view and update your name, email and phone number in Account settings.
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing techpreneurssolution@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
You can remove Ventiqa's access to your Google account at any time, as described in section 3.

11. International Transfers

Some of our providers process information outside Tanzania, including in the United States and the European Union. We use providers that apply appropriate security measures to the information they handle.

12. Children

Ventiqa accounts are for adults organizing events. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 18.
